My name is Taylor Skinner. I am a Junior at University of the Pacific: School of International Studies, and I will be studying abroad in Nishinomiya (just outside of Osaka) for this spring semester. I studied Japanese for two years, but it has been almost a year since my last class, but since I am doing a home stay, I'm sure I'll pick it back up quickly. My host family is a 25 year-old couple with a 1 year-old kid--I hope that I can convince them to get a dog.
I'll update this journal as frequently as I can with pictures, stories, and experiences (especially critical incidents), so check back often after I leave in two weeks.
