A Very Beautiful Room!
So, I am here with my parents at the New Otani in Akihabara, Tokyo! After a long (11hr) flight, and a bus drive that felt even longer (2hrs--I swear we were driving in circles), we have landed
in our hotel room. We got a room on the corner of the tower on the 27th floor, so needless to say, the views are spectacular!
It goes without saying that the service was unparalleled. The bell-hop
s did not want us carrying a single bag (or backpack). They would not let us help carry the luggage into the room, and the flat-out refused a tip (which I told my mom and dad not to offer, but the service was that good)!
It's great to be back in Tokyo! I can't wait to see Mai tomorrow!
